FRE-FLO™ Water Systems, Inc. Specialized Annually Reaplaceable Water Condtioners, the "FS" Series, is easily sized to the application.  Simply match the FRE-FLO™ to the range of water GPM of the equipment in which the FRE-FLO™ is to be installed on.  Water flow can start and stop at any time.  The most important factor: when the water is flowing, it needs to be within the designated water flow range.  The last three numbers of the model represent the inlet/outlet size (in inches) ie R075-025 equals 1/4".

FRE-FLO™ is a catalytic water conditioner (NOT A FILTER) that removes and prevents scale ("limescale") in water using equipment.  FRE-FLO™ waorks naturally with the abitlity of calcium carbonate (a very versatile mineral) to have different forms and functions.  FRE-FLO™ removes existing hard calcium carbonate deposits and forms a beneficial new calcium carbonate crystal that is extrememly small (0.0000006 inches) and a softer form.  FRE-FLO™ also prevents new hard calcium from forming.

The "FS" series comes equipped with time saving Swagelok connectors.  This benefit also makes it faster to perform annual maintenance on the FRE-FLO™ unit core.  Life expectancy of the core is 15 plus years when maintained properly according to the FRE-FLO™ "Installation and Servicing Instructions".  Another time saving measure is the addition of an "O" ring as part of the union in the center of the FRE-FLO™ unit.  The "O" ring allows for hand tightening and prevents leaks.
